Surviving a global pandemic

I really think that a lot of people would benefit if they changed their perspective on the situation in the world right now.
Instead of moping around, do something! Instead of saying, “Oh rats, it’s year #2 of the latest global disaster”, try saying something like “oh awesome! I have another few months to continue learning new things, honing my skills, developing myself as a human and just generally growing”. Maybe instead of thinking of the bad parts like the fact that you are not working, and instead think of the good side to that – you are not working! Use this time to get work done around your house, spend time with your family, spend time with your children, spend LOTS OF QUALITY TIME with your spouse, take up a new hobby, read a new book, learn to cook a new food.
This whole thing is temporary while the world presses its reset button.
This too shall pass. Everything always does. I know that it’s tough right now and that living this way isn’t as comfortable as you might like, but try and use this as an opportunity!
Learn a new skill. Learn a new language. Pick up an instrument. Pick up a journal. Pick up a tennis racquet (tennis is a great sport that is easily done in a socially distanced way). Get a great pair of hiking shoes and hit the trails. Invest in a really awesome camera and take up photography. Take a class online and get some new certifications (which may help you make more money in the future!).
The list of options is literally endless. What will you choose?
